Frances Lawrence Obituary
She was born in Epping N.H on February 7th, 1923 to Benjamin M. Woods and Bernice Morrison.
Fran worked in retail in CT, NH and MA for many years. She was a very kind and friendly person and she was loved by everyone that knew her.
When she lived in New Hampshire she enjoyed going to the Dog Track to bet on her favorite dog, Fancy Fran. She loved flowers, gardening and the Boston Red Sox. Her Family meant everything to her.
She was predeceased by her husband Woodbury J. Lawrence and son Joseph W. Lawrence (Michele), survived by (Cynthia). Fran had two sisters Theda Woods, Lydia Mole and a brother Charles Woods.
She was the mother of Donald B. Lawrence (Betty) of Branford, CT.
She is also survived by five grandchild, Erika Onyeberechi (Odu), Kim Perez (Erick), Jeff Lawrence, Chris Lawrence (Shelley) and Justin Lawrence (Ashley Azevedo) and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 21st, 2024 at 12:00pm at Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, MA 01201.

I worked with Fran for many years at Bradlees. She was the sweetest, kindest, friendliest woman I have ever known. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Erika, Kim and Jeffrey; I am saddened to hear of your grandmother´s passing. She was an amazing lady, so kind, friendly and loved by all. I´m sure your Dad met her at the gate with a big hug. Will cherish our talks we had. You will be missed by many. R.I.P. my dear friend.
