Frances Delores McCullough, age 93, of East Palestine, OH, formerly of New Galilee, PA, died on Monday, March 3, 2025. She was born in Monaca, PA on August 4, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Robert G. Alexander and Wilma M. Egger Alexander Kaye. She was the wife of the late Robert James McCullough. She was a tax collector for many years for Little Beaver Township. Frances was a member of Enon Presbyterian Church, Little Beaver Historical Society, and Friends of the Library in East Palestine, OH. She was an avid reader, loved to cross stitch, and going on bus trips with her husband and friends. She also enjoyed stamp collecting, flower gardens, cats, and never missed an episode of Jeopardy. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Frances (Robert) Cooley of Tyrone, PA; Robert C. (Susan) McCullough of East Palestine, OH; Scott J. (Debbie) McCullough of Manchester, ME; eight grandchildren, Robert (Stacy) Cooley; Timothy (Molly) Cooley; Wesley Cooley; Erin (Jared) Klamer; Matthew McCullough; Ryan (Jill) McCullough; Amanda (Andrew) Bisol; Diana (Krista) McCullough; eleven great-grandchildren, Emma; Audrey; Chloe; Evan; Rory; Henry; Fiona; Greta; Faye; Philip; Asher; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, Frances was preceded in death by her siblings, Helen (the late Carl) Barto; and William J. (the late Sarah) Alexander.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation for their loving care.
Family and friends will gather on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at Campbell’s Chippewa Funeral Home, Inc., 2618 Darlington Road, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 (Randy R. Wheeler, supervisor, 724-843-2500). A burial will take place at Little Beaver Cemetery in Enon Valley, PA.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the East Palestine Memorial Public Library, 309 North Market Street, East Palestine, OH 44413.
