Frances McGee Obituary

Frances McGee, 81, passed away Friday, March 27, 2025, at the North MS Medical Center. She was born January 4, 1945, in Florence, AL to Ellis and Bessie Weeks. She was a longtime, faithful member of First Baptist Church, Okolona. She enjoyed playing Bingo and watching Alabama Football. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

Services will be 2 PM Monday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Lewman officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be 12 - 2 Monday. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Glenn McGee of Okolona; two daughters, Tina Sullivan (James) of Pontotoc and Lisa Beard (Rodney) of Okolona; one son, Chris McGee (Melissa) of Okolona; her sister, Carolyn McGee (Dewey) of Alabama; six grandchildren who affectionately called her Nanny, Ryan McGee, Coty Beard, Kristen Hood, Will Helms, Alyssa McGee and Savannah Beard; six great-grandchildren, Shane, Aaron, Bo, Eve, Brooks and Kinsley.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Ryan McGee, Coty Beard, Brett Blevins, Shawn Beard, Rodney Beard and Rick Mears.
