Frances Lenore Medrano of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, at age 100. She was born on April 30, 1925, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Homer and Mary Isabelle Brust.

Frances loved growing sunflowers, gardening, and studying the Bible. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on August 6, 1961, in Norwalk, Ohio.

She also loved spending time with friends, her family in Ohio and Florida, and sharing her Bible knowledge and hope for the future with others. In the 1980's she moved to Florida permanently with her husband, Alex Medrano.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Molly Callahan; her parents; three siblings, Martin Brust, Bill Brust, and Jane Eggerton; first husband, Charles James Callahan, Jr.; and second husband, Alexander Charles Medrano.

She will be deeply missed by her children; Michael Callahan and wife Myrtis, Dan Callahan, John Callahan and wife Rose, eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Shirley Bixler; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The memorial service for Frances will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 424 Nicholas Parkway, Bldg. A, Cape Coral, FL 33991.
