Francis Marie Ray Meyers, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of the LDS community, passed away suddenly at the age of 73-years-old surrounded by her loving family. Marie, as she was affectionately known, dedicated her life to her family and faith, leaving an enduring legacy of kindness, devotion, and service.
Marie was a loving and loyal wife to her surviving spouse, Harold Meyers, and a devoted mother to her children: Johnathon (Lisa), Melanie (Nate), Layna (Louis), Julia, and Cheryl (Ryan). She also embraced her role as a stepmother with warmth and compassion, welcoming Micheal (Jacque), Heather (Tyler), Daniel (Mary Jane), and Kathleen (Nick)—the children of Harold—into her heart and family. Marie is also survived by her devoted mother, Elizabeth Betts; her brothers, Allen and Kenneth; and her sister, Charlotte.
As an involved grandmother to her twenty-five grandchildren and great-grandmother to two, Marie created a world of joy and magic for each of them. Her loving tea parties became treasured traditions, filled with laughter, storytelling, and the warmth only a grandmother could provide.
Marie had a zest for life and a wide array of interests. She loved music, delighted in traveling to new places, and expressed her creativity through painting. She enjoyed playing dice and the game Qwirkle with friends and family. Marie also found deep fulfillment in her service as a temple worker, a role that meant so much to her and reflected her devotion to her faith. Above all, she treasured spending time with her beloved family members, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.
A steadfast member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Marie’s faith guided her actions and inspired those around her. She served her church and community with humility and grace, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear.
Marie’s legacy of love, faith, and selfless service will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 13th, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 525 West 7th Street, Powell, Wyoming. The viewing will be from 9:00 to 9:45 AM, with the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank all who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time.
