Daniel Ray Jacobson "Boone" passed away on March 2nd, 2026 (69) at his home in Powell Wyoming, surrounded by his loved ones.
Boone was born on September 13th, 1956 to parents Edward "Jim" and Anna Marie "Toots" Jacobson in Cut Bank Montana. Boone was the 3rd of 4 children. He graduated from Cut Bank High School and joined the Army soon after. He served from 1975 to 1979. After the service Boone went onto farming for his parents for many years. He drove the senior citizen bus in Cut Bank, and worked in the oilfield throughout the Rocky Mountains. Eventually settling in Powell Wyoming where he continued his oilfield career until he retired.
He is Survived by brother Bob Jacobson (Nancy), niece Keela Lyda (Bud), niece Connie Kinden (Scott), niece Bobbi Sayre (Matt), niece Missy Connavo and brother in law Richard Baney, special friends Shane Lynn, Dana Kinney, and Sarah and Eddie Williams.
Preceded in death by his parents Jim and Toots, sister Audrey Baney, brother Greg Jacobson, sister in law Linda Perkins Jacobson and his dear girlfriend of 15 yrs Jo Lee Schriner.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday March 22nd at the American Legion in Powell Wyoming from 11-2. Please come show your love for Boone.
