Frances "Rudkin" Minsky

Frances (Rudkin) Minsky, age 100, of Peabody, formerly of Boynton Beach, FL and Cape Cod, Entered Eternal Rest on January 7, 2026.

She was the loving daughter of Sam and Annie Rudkin, raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts with her 4 sisters, Goldie, Rose, Miriam and Naomi. She earned her RN from Lowell General Hospital. She served in the US Cadet Nurse Corps . She was passionate about her career, bringing not only skill to the OR, but kindness and compassion to her patients. After retiring, she continued to use her nursing skills as a volunteer at health clinics and at the Pan Mass Challenge.

She was an avid reader, often recalling her mothers words "If you have a book you will never be lonely". She loved to discuss and share books with friends and relatives.

She met her husband, Edwin Minsky at Salisbury Beach and they were married for 67 wonderful years until his passing.

She was a devoted wife of the late Edwin Minsky; beloved mother of Melinda, her husband Bob, Sandra, her husband, Eric and Bruce, his wife, Connie; adoring grandmother of Leigh, Chad and Stephanie and their wives Lisa, Sarah and Elizabeth, and a loving great grandmother to Adelaide, Edward, Grace, Holden and Parker. She was a loving sister, loyal friend to so many and beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She will be laid to rest in a private service. Condolence calls may be made on Sunday, January 11th at the Clubhouse at Hampton Place, 77 Florence St, Chestnut Hill from 3-7 pm. Please check in with the door person. Her children welcome your company and friendship.
