Frances Mary Morasso, age 84, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025 in Voorhees
Township, NJ surrounded by her loving family.
Born on January 15, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA. Frances was a lifelong resident of the
Camden County area of New Jersey. She dedicated 35 years of her career to Scott
Paper Company in Chester, PA, where she was known for her dedication, work ethic,
and warm personality.
Frances was the beloved wife of John N. Morasso, with whom she shared 60 wonderful
years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on family, love, and tradition. She
was the devoted mother of Frances A. Stevenson and John J. Morasso, and the proud
grandmother of Debbie R. Stevenson, who brought her endless joy. Also, mother-in-law
to John's wife Joy, who was like a best friend to her. Frances cherished her siblings-Maryann Emenecker, Patricia Atkinson, Joseph Gillin, and Michael Gillin-and was a source of strength and kindness to them throughout her life. Frances was predeceased by her mother Mary Gillin, father Raymond Gillin, and brothers Raymond Gillin, James Gillin, and John (Jack) Gillin.
Outside of her work and family, Frances found great joy in gardening. She took
immense pride in maintaining a beautiful yard, always making sure it was immaculate
and welcoming. Her love of holiday decorating turned her home into a warm and festive
haven, where friends and family always felt welcome.
Frances will be remembered for her gentle heart, her unwavering love for her family,
and the beauty she brought to everything around her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
