Frances Heller Obituary
A lifelong resident of Savannah, Georgia, Patsy was born on February 2, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Frank Austin Winders and Elizabeth Mock Winders. She was preceded in death by The Love of Her Life for 52 years, Rupert S. Heller and their infant daughter, Donna.
She was a member of Congregation Mickve Israel. She was in the very first graduating class of Herschel V. Jenkins High School in 1959.
She devoted her life to her husband and family. Her love, support and encouragement were instrumental in the building and success of the family business, Rupert Heller's Prescriptions. She was a wonderful, loving and proud mother and grandmother.
She is survived by four children; Karen Heller Griffith (Carl) of St Simons Island, GA, Hank Heller (Meredith), Beth Heller Steinfeldt, and Crystal Heller all of Savannah, GA; eight grandchildren; Hayley Frances Mallary, Ray Heller Steinfeldt, Rebecca Steinfeldt Stevens (David), Rachel Danielle Steinfeldt, Lila Blair Heller, Jake Ryan Rupert Heller, Kate Tennyson, Jacqueline Sherrill and one great grandson Liam Sherrill. Also, her sister, Joann Winders Ryan of Savannah and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Sunday August 24 at 2:30pm, graveside at Bonaventure Cemetery and conducted by Rabbi Robert Haas.
