Frances Poyle was born on November 30,1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Frank and Helen Slaga. Frances, who resided in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, passed away on January 26, 2026 at the age of 89. Loving mother of Karen (George) Orsargos, Keith Poyle, Kevin Poyle, and Denise (Kevin) Mariani. Dear sister of Constance Hamner. Dearest grandmother of 20, great grandmother of 29, great great grandmother of 3. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Poyle, her sons, Kenneth, John, and Brian Poyle, her grandson Stevie Kozakiewicz, and her sisters, Patricia Slaga, Geraldine (Patrick) Glegola, and Dolores (Raymond) Zarnick. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Frances had the most beautiful soul and loved her family fiercely. Whether it be her little phone calls to check up on you or a card for every holiday and birthday. Frances enjoyed spending time with those she loved, cooking, playing cards, her kindle, and going shopping with a stop for lunch or dinner. She always put a smile on everyone's face and could always make you laugh. Frances touched the lives of all those who had the pleasure of being loved by her through her thoughtfulness, kindness, devotion, faith, and selflessness. She will be forever loved and missed by many
Visitation Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road. (313) 278-5100. Rosary service 6 p.m. Sunday evening. Funeral service Monday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment St. Hedwig Cemetery. Please share memories and/or leave condolences on Frances' guestbook on her tribute wall.
