David W. Dumas

Dumas, David W., was born on July 17, 1927 in Lincoln Park, Michigan to David and Alice Dumas. David, who resided in Dearborn, Michigan, passed away on January 30, 2026 at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Lillian M. Dumas. Loving father of David Jr. (Midge), John, Daniel (Irma) Dumas and Diane (Michael) Stetz. Dearest grandfather of Stacy and David Dumas and Andrea, Lisa, Laura and Michael Stetz. Loving great-grandfather of Kyle, Aiden, Nico, Michael, Colton, Lucas and David. David was preceded in death by his parents. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. David was a proud veteran of the United States Navy having served during WWII. He also was a member of many veteran's organizations throughout his lifetime; American Legion Post 364, Amvets Post #4, and DAV #51.

Visitation Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the Dearborn Chapel of Voran Funeral Home, 23701 Ford Road. (313) 278-5100. In state Thursday 9:30 a.m. with a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church 3965 Merrick St. Dearborn Heights, MI. Interment St. Hedwig Cemetery.
