It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frances Ann Richardson, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, who departed this world peacefully on January 20, 2026, at the age of 93. Born on September 24, 1932, in Trenton, New Jersey, Frances lived a life dedicated to her family and community.
A dedicated homemaker, Frances found joy in creating a warm and loving environment for her family. She was a proud parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, where she nurtured her faith and built lasting relationships. Known for her kindness and compassion, Frances touched the lives of many, always ready with a comforting word or a helping hand.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Rosalia (Minneci) Polito; her beloved husband, Byron Richardson, daughter, Rosemary Richardson, siblings, Russell Polito and Jennie Efaw; and her daughter-in-law, Nancy Richardson.
Frances is survived by her three loving children, Sharon Jones, Kenneth Richardson, and Steven Richardson, as well as her grandchildren, Kristal and husband Jeffry Czechowski and Anthony Richardson, and her great-grandchildren, Lonnie Perkins and Branch Czechowski. Her legacy of love and strength will continue to inspire all who knew her.
We invite family and friends to celebrate her remarkable life and bid farewell. A public viewing will take place on January 28, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
The burial will follow where she will be laid to rest next to her husband Byron in St. Mary's Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
