Frances M. Roberts

Frances M. Roberts, of Langhorne, passed away peacefully at her home on February 23, 2026. She was 83. Frances was born on November 16, 1942 to the late Thomas and Lillian Murphy. She was the beloved wife of more than 60 years of John J. Roberts, Sr; mother of Gregory Roberts and his children Kaylyn, Shannon, Meghan and Gregory; Robert K. Roberts (Theresa) and their children Danielle, Kirk and Maxine; Thomas W. Roberts (Jackie DuVal) and her children Justin and Braden and their grandchild Skarlet; and the late John J. Roberts, Jr; sister of Thomas Murphy, James Murphy (Marlene), the late Nancy McKeon, and the late Catherine "Cass" Mastrangelo; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a beloved extended family.

Frances was born and raised in Philadelphia. Family and friends referred to her as "the life of the party" which shone through her love of entertaining over the years as well as spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing with her husband, playing cards, skiing with her children, bowling, and summers at the beach from a young age. Frances was especially proud of using skills from her management classes to run the office of a local trucking firm during her working years.

Family and friends are invited to her Life Celebration on Friday, March 6, 2026. Her Viewing will begin at 10:30 A.M. until her Mass of Christian Burial begins at 11:30 A.M. at St. Christopher's Parish Church, located at 13301 Proctor Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19116. Interment will follow at William Penn Cemetery.
