MS. Frances Ann Rolland

MS. FRANCES ANN ROLLAND, age 71, of 407 Atlantic Avenue, Grovetown, GA passed on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Piedmont-Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA. Family members and friends may call at the funeral home. THOMSON FUNERAL SYSTEM, Thomson, GA oversees all arrangements.
MS. FRANCES ANN ROLLAND, affectionately known by her middle name "Ann" was born on Saturday, May 1, 1954, in Thomson (McDuffie County), Georgia to both the late Marvin and Martha Rolling. She transitioned on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Piedmont-Augusta Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.
Ann attended the public schools of Columbia County, Georgia. At an early age, she joined the New Holt Baptist Church of Harlem, Georgia. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, cousin and a friend to many. Ann enjoyed cooking and attending family gatherings. She was full of life and laughter. Ann worked for the former H.L. Green Company of Augusta, Georgia for several years. Later on, she found gainful employment with Kroger Retail Store where she worked for 17 dedicated years.
In addition to her parents, our dearly beloved Frances Ann Rolland was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Sylvester Rolland, Sr.; two brothers, Bruce Rolling and Lonnie Rolland. Many precious memories are left to be cherished by those who have survived her: two grandsons, Patrick Sylvester Rolland, Jr. of Augusta, Georgia and Darius Patrick Rolland of Atlanta, GA; an extended grandson, Devin Cunningham of Augusta, Georgia; three sisters, Mildred Rolland, Martha Evans and Janice (Willie) Tankersley; one brother, Randy (Paulet) Rolling; a close and dear friend, Delois "Pee Wee" Leverett; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and additional friends.
God's great kingdom has been Illuminated by the presence of our dear and beloved Frances Ann Rolland.
