Frances A. Sampson

Francis Sampson, 78 of East Falmouth, formerly of Wellesley, passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 28, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of Joseph Sampson and the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Connors.

Fran attended Wellesley High School class of 1964, went onto study at Baystate Academy, until she met the love of her life, Joe Sampson.

They married on August 14, 1969 and started a family and moved to Lakeville, MA where they met many friends and raised their four children. In 1990 they took to the beach and moved to Falmouth.

Fran loved the beach, reading, baking and listening to the Red Sox on the radio. Most of all she loved road trips and traveling the countryside with Joe. Her biggest love was her children and grandchildren. Her four children, Pete, Michelle, Kate and Mike, her daughter in law Becca, son in law Brian and her grandchildren Ashlin and Evey, all knew nothing but unconditional love and support.

When you were in the presence of her there was sure to be smiles and laughter, on the best of days, you never knew what was going to come out of her mouth. Till the end that infectious smile was ever present.

Heaven picked a good one, now you can rest.

Visitation will take place on October 11th from 10 - 11 a.m. at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 475 Main Street, Falmouth, with a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
