Frances Louise Shaw

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Frances Louise Shaw, who left us peacefully on July 1, 2025, at the age of 86. Frances was born on October 5, 1938, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, and spent her life creating beautiful memories with family and friends.

Frances was a remarkable woman known for her love of cooking, often filling her home with the delightful aromas of her favorite recipes, which brought joy to those around her. Her greatest passion was her family, whom she cherished above all else. Frances is survived by her loving daughters, Deborha Story and Mary Stafford; her sons, David McBride and Kevin Addy; as well as, 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 8 great great-grandchildren. They will carry her spirit with them always.

Frances will be remembered not only for her culinary skills but for her warm heart and the love she shared with everyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernie and Orean Morris; her beloved husband, Charlie Shaw; son, Gary McBride; sister, Shirley Vanmeter; and 2 precious grandsons, Stetson Caldwell and David McBride. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 5 to 8 PM at Croley Funeral Home in GLadewater, where family and friends can gather to celebrate her life and share stories. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 10 AM at Gladewater Memorial Park, where we will lay her to rest and honor her legacy.
