Frances was born on November 2, 1924 to the late Barry and Lindy Godwin. She was the last of twelve children and wife to the late J. Herman Speight. She leaves behind two daughters; Jean S. She was a wonderful homemaker with the gift of hospitality. She cooked many meals for family, ministers, missionaries, and friends. She had a strong faith in the Bible and loved Jesus. She was a firm believer in the Acts 2:38 message. She was a founding member of the First Apostolic Church of Wilson and a faithful saint and prayer warrior at New Life Tabernacle, UPC, in Aberdeen. She enjoyed many fishing trips with family, was a wonderful seamstress, and enjoyed doing ceramics and macramé. Granny was loved by many and will be greatly missed in the days ahead.
