Frances Wages Obituary
Frances Yvonne (Courtney) Wages of Camden, AR, went to be with our Lord and Savior Thursday March 12, 2026. She was born September 8, 1946 to Roy Lamar Courtey and Nettie Faye (Leopard) Courtney in Cleveland County, Arkansas. She was the youngest of 10 children.
Frances was a retired cashier, an avid quilter and crocheter. She made many beautiful quilts and afghans for family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Bobby E. Wages. She is survived by her 5 sons: John (Tammy) Porter of Cabot, AR; Gregory Wages of Bearden, AR; Steven (Angela) Wages of Hot Springs, AR; Brad (Brandi) Wages of Hampton AR; and Jeremy (Holly) Wages of Camden, AR; 9 grandchildren (Chad, Hannah, Cory, Chris, Ryan, Layne, Brooke, Tyler and Ben) and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Bearden/Fordyce.
