Frances "Dale" Wilkinson (Primeaux), 78, of Sunset, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, surrounded by loved ones after battling Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

Her greatest joys were spending time with her loving and devoted husband of nearly 26 years, and watching her daughter grow into a faithful Christian wife.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Kendall Wilkinson; her daughter, Essie Lynn Lopez (DeVille);her son Johnny Wilkinson and wife LeAnna; her brother, Chester George Primeaux, Jr.; her fur baby, Cookie; and many beloved extended family members who will miss her very much.
Dale is preceded in death by her parents, Chester George Primeaux and Rosie Primeaux (Broussard); her brothers, Ronald George Primeaux, Paul Isidore Primeaux, Bentley Antoine Primeaux; and sister, Patricia Alice Primeaux.
The family would like to extend a special thanks and appreciation to the exceptional staff of The Carpenter House; operated by St. Joseph's Hospice in Lafayette, LA.
A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date. Families and friends will be notified and welcome to attend.
