96, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at RI Hospital in Providence surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband for 67 years of Dorothy E. (Pompa) Rocchio. Born in Gallo, Italy, he was the son of the late Pietro and Maria (Paolo) Rocchio.
Mr. Rocchio was a chemical operator for Ciba-Geigy Company for many years before retiring.
Besides his wife Dorothy, he was the devoted father of Frank P. Rocchio and his wife Angela of Weymouth, MA, and Sandra A. Nichols and Robert E. Rocchio both of Johnston; cherished grandfather of Olivia Nichols, Gianna Rocchio, Jacob Nichols and Ryan Nichols; dear brother of Angela Martino of Indiana and the late Domenic, Joseph, Antonio and Pasquale Rocchio, Maria Eduardo and Domenica Delli Carpini; and loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Friday, February 20th at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco Church, 931Atwood Ave., Johnston at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Friday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
