Francis Lee Bodrie II, age 66, of Madison Heights, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
Francis, lovingly known as "Frank" or "Lee" to some and "Papa" to others, was a hardworking, fun-loving man with a heart full of kindness. He was a devoted father, a doting grandfather, and a cherished friend. To his daughter, Maegan, and his grandson, Vicente, he was a steady source of love, wisdom, and joy-a cornerstone of their lives.
Francis had a passion for life that radiated in his every action. Whether he was riding with his scooter club, sharing stories with friends, or simply taking a leisurely stroll with his beloved dogs, Juju and Mimosa, his presence was always warm and uplifting. The scooter club held a special place in his heart, offering him a sense of adventure and camaraderie that brought him immense happiness.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Michelle, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and memories; his parents, Frank and Theresa Bodrie; and his sister, Sharon Trombley. Francis is survived by his daughter, Maegan (Victor Garcia) Bodrie; his grandson, Vicente Garcia; and his faithful canine companions, Juju and Mimosa.
Francis' family would like to express their gratitude to everyone who enriched his life with friendship and love. Though he requested a private service with his close family, his memory will forever shine in the hearts of all who knew him.
In honor of Francis' generous spirit and deep love for animals, memorial donations can be made to the Michigan Humane Society. Contributions to the American Cancer Society are also welcomed, reflecting his enduring hope for a cure.
