Francis CONLEY Obituary
Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 17, at Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, SOUTH BOSTON, from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agatha Parish, in Milton, MA, at 10:30am, on Saturday, October 18.
Frank was a graduate of Suffolk Law School. He worked in private practice before becoming the Regional Council for the Small Business Administration, a position he held for over thirty years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA; dana-farber.org

I am so sorry to read of Frank's passing. He was a great guy and an inspiration in my life. We both worked in the Senate in the late 1960's and worked on the Carter campaign in 1976. We were on opposite sides for Mayor, but remained friends. I got to know Frank's dad, who was also a wonderful guy and a legendary Boston bartender. May Frank rest in peace.

Frank and I worked together at SBA. He as regional counsel and I as Boston District Counsel. Frank was a fierce supporter of the District Counsels and the district office attorneys. However what I most remember of Frank is the many discussions of local and national politics. His insights were consistently illuminating. We had a mini reunion with Mary, Chris and I two years ago and once again the conversation turned to Frank's favorite topic, politics. I had been looking forward to another such reunion. Frank will be greatly missed.
