Francis "Duane" Deitch

Francis "Duane" Deitch, 86, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 at WVU Medicine Reynolds Memorial Hospital. He was born March 6, 1939; the son of the late Melvin and Blanche (Dietrich) Deitch. Duane attended Immanuel United Church of Christ in Clarington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Duane Deitch Jr.; three brothers, Ralph, Donald and Gene Deitch; two sisters, Gaynell Auten and Mary Eddy. Survivors include wife, Carol; four sons, Ronnie (Betty Cavanaugh) Deitch of Clarington, Aaron (Kathie) Deitch of Powhatan, Gerald (Joella Urbanek) Deitch of Beallsville, Mark (Dee Zombotti) Deitch of Clarington; one brother, Robert Deitch of Caldwell, OH; two step daughters, Shari (Bill) Saffell of Clarington and Sheila (Bill) Thomas of Hannibal; several grandchildren and great grand children; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 25th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home, 125 Clarinda Drive, Clarington, Ohio. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 26th at 11am. Interment at Clarington Cemetery to follow.
