Francis Dinda Obituary

Francis Anthony Dinda went home to the Lord on Monday, August 18th. Fran is preceded in death by his parents, John and Veronica Dinda; sister Dorothy Russo, brother John Dinda, and his wife, love, and best friend, Jane Dinda. After meeting on a Suburban Ski Club bus trip, the couple had 50 beautiful years of marriage, and their family is comforted by the fact that they are together once again. He is survived by his children, Chris Dinda and Ann Dinda; sister Evelyn Yoe; and sisters in law, Patricia Dinda and Judy (Jack) Walsh.
After starting as a bank examiner with the Federal Reserve, Frank had a long career as a Vice President with National City Bank. While he was proud of his work accomplishments, it was his work with the church that he truly treasured. He was a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus and worked tirelessly to grow in his faith.
Francis lived a life of honesty, integrity, and good punch lines. His quick wit and generous nature will be missed by all those who knew him. He cherished his community at the Church of the Assumption, in Broadview Hts., where his funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 5th at 10 a.m.

Yesterday

I worked with Frank at National City Bank from 1976-1981. He was a true gentleman, always had a kind word for me and others. I remember him with fondness all these almost 50 years later.
