Francis D. "Frank" Gendron

Francis D. "Frank" Gendron, 81, a resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Joan (LeBlanc) Gendron with whom he enjoyed 48 years of marriage.
He was born in Lowell on June 6, 1944, and was the son of the late Clement A. and Eva Marie (Chartier) Gendron.
Frank was raised in Lowell and remained there most of his life before moving to Dracut a few years ago. He was a mechanical inspector for the majority of his life and worked for Alfa CTP Systems and Asyst Automation prior to his retirement.
Many people would say that Frank was the last of the Gendron Clan. He most certainly enjoyed good times with family, friends, and his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his loving wife, Frank is survived by his four children, Suzanne Cormier and her husband Edward of Lowell, David Gendron of Lowell, Jennifer Noseworthy and her husband Scott of Florida, and Ryan Gendron and his wife Jillian of Dover, NH. He also leaves six grandchildren, Christopher Cormier, Jonathan Cormier, Emily Cormier and her husband Jeremy Bergold, David Gendron, Eva Gendron, and Arianna Sage, his sisters-in law Linda Gendron and Dee Spanos, and his brother-in-law Leon LeBlanc.
Frank was pre-deceased by his siblings, Omer Gendron, Leo Gendron, and Doris Durand.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, from 4 pm to 7 pm at DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 9:30 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 95 Lakeview Avenue, Tyngsborough. Interment will be held privately.
