Mirelle Gendron

Enfield, CT- Mirelle (Fleurent) Gendron 91, wife of the late Henry Gendron, died October 8, 2025. Mirelle was born in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada she was a daughter of the late Elphege and Helina (Pilon) Fleurent. Mirelle has lived in Springfield, West Springfield, Ware, and Agawam MA. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Laundry Department at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Her favorite activities included walking, taking care of the household, caring for her grandchildren as well as her children and going to Bingo. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by: Carmen Labrie (sister), Jeanine Boisvert (sister), Marciel Fleurent (brother), Fernande "Fat" Fleurent (brother) Mirelle is survived by her two sons, Patrick (with fiancé Laurie Gaboury) and Marc. She had a daughter Mona, but she passed in 2018.Grandchildren – Kelly Grassetti (with Allen Grassetti - Husband), Kyle Gendron (with Rebecca Gendron – wife), Jeremy Petlock, Sean Petlock. Great grandchildren – Kylie Grassetti, Giovanni Grassetti, Nash Gendron.

A calling hour for family and friends will take place from 12:00 NOON -1:00PM on Tuesday October 21, 2025 at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral & Cremation, 985 Main Street, Agawam with a funeral home service to follow at 1:00PM. Mirelle will be laid to rest in the Massachusetts Veterans' National Cemetery, Agawam. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
