Francis "Butch" Hutsko, 84 of Primrose, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 27, 2025 at home.
Born in Pottsville October 27, 1940, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Hocko) Hutsko.
He was a 1958 graduate of Cass Township High School. Francis served with the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Butch worked construction before his career as a machine operator at Exxon Chemical, Marlin. He enjoyed country and oldies music, especially the Rolling Stones. He was a life member of South Cass Fire Company. His favorite activity was spending time with his grandson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Dr. Joseph Hutsko; Mike "Mim" Hutsko; George "Yuddy" Hutsko; John "Dizzy" Hutsko; Nicholas Hutsko; Michael "Duffy" Molocznik; 2 sisters, Julie Holige and Anna Cutler.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years Gloria (Baritsky) Hutsko; a son, Frank M. Hutsko of Pottsville; a daughter, Vicky A. Schach and her husband Warren of Llewellyn; a grandson, Evan Motley; a sister, Mary "Babe" Sullivan; nieces and nephews.

America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Farewell fellow war veteran.
