Francis Rosalinda Lozada, of Tomball, Texas, peacefully walked into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 4, 2024 surrounded in love by her husband, children, their spouses, and grandchildren. She was 80 years old. Rosalinda was born on the 16th of November 1943, in Mexico City, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her father Francisco Paez Brito of Tampico, Mexico and the late Delia Paez de Cortez of Oaxaca, Mexico.
As a young girl, Rosalinda loved playing piano, did many recitals and was a star student. At the young age of 18, she won the City Fair Beauty Pageant in San Luis Potosi Mexico. She attended the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí and later moved to Chicago, Illinois with her family. At age 20, she was the Princess of the Mexican Independence Day Parade in Chicago. Her first job there was in banking at the Cosmopolitan Bank. She went on to sell Stanley Home Products and was recognized for top sales multiple times. Rosalinda studied real estate, volunteered at Northwest Assistance Ministries for over a decade, all while pursuing her passion of collecting carnival glass for over 45 years. She was a member of the American Carnival Glass Association and a founding member of the Texas Carnival Glass Club. Rosalinda went on many glass collecting adventures, making memories with friends and family and proudly creating one of the largest collections in the Southwestern United States. There wasn't an antique mall or shop she didn't know about.
Rosalinda was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who was so kind and loving to her family. She first met her husband Bill in 1952 in San Luis Potosi when she was 9 years old. After moving to Chicago with her family when she was 18 she reconnected with Bill. He took her to the high school prom and they were married in Chicago, Illinois in 1964. They went on to have four loving children and will have been married for 60 years this year. She was a model wife to her husband and he loved her deeply. She taught us all what it meant to be a loving, faithful, gentle and loyal spouse. She spent her life dedicated to raising her children while her husband went to school and built his career. Her children always felt the love, warmth and compassion of their magnificent mother. She shared the love of her faith, her love for The Blessed Mother, gardening, antiquing and traveling the world with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was the most incredible "Nana" to her grandchildren who brought her so much joy. Her love for them was deep and unwavering and they loved and adored her. Her beauty inside and out, along with her quick wit, funny spirit and lighthearted personality made her an extremely loved and treasured person by all that got to know her. Her smile would light up a room and she blessed her family with a lifetime of special moments and memories. She will be greatly missed by all of those that came to know her.
Rosalinda is survived by her beloved husband, Guillermo "Bill" Lozada; her daughter, Frances Rosalinda Nowak, her husband Chris and their son, Jordan Scott Nowak; her son Guillermo Lozada Jr., his partner Karla Alejandra Palma Torres, and his two children, Guillermo Lozada IV and Daniel Alexander Lozada; her daughter, Monica Letbetter, her husband Jason and their two children Nicholas Heath Letbetter and Emily Elizabeth Letbetter; her daughter, Natalie Marie O'Brien, her husband John and their three children Andrew James O'Brien, John "Jack" Joseph O'Brien IV and Benjamin Patrick O'Brien.

Rosalinda was a beautiful lady both inside and outside. She was always happy, vivacious and up for a family gathering. She loved her family with a passion and was well loved in return. We were blessed to be "grafted" in when Jason and Monica married. Wife, mother, Nana will be greatly missed but is at peace and pain free at last. We send our deepest love and prayers to all the family
