FRANCIS MAWN Obituary

MAWN, Rev. Francis X. Of Boston, a cherished priest, devoted brother and compassionate educator, peacefully entered into eternal rest, on March 5, 2025, at the Regina Cleri Residence in Boston, Massachusetts. Born on August 8, 1947, in Boston, MA, he dedicated his life to serving God and his community with unwavering faith and boundless love. Rev. Mawn leaves behind a legacy of faith and love as he is survived by his devoted siblings, Kevin Mawn of Milton, Michelle R. Mawn of Braintree and Annmarie Koehler of Quincy; and their families. He was predeceased by his sister, Marylou Tierney; and his brother, Joseph B. Mawn. Visiting Hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., MILTON, Thursday, March 13, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Friday morning, March 14, at 11:00. Burial in Milton Cemetery. David and Anne Martineau. We're from the old corpus Christi in Lawrence, Ma. Now called Holy Rosary Shrine. Always loved Fr. Mawn's sermons, gentleness when talking, friendliness manorisam. And always expressing thankfulness and gratefulness. Rip. He has a special place with Jesus.
