Francis McQuiston Obituary
August 31, 2022. Born on May 20, 1949, in a 1941 Hudson 4 door car in Silver bow, Mt to
Sheldon and Grace McQuiston. He grew up in Melrose, MT with his 8 brothers and sisters.
Later, he decided to travel down to Texas to go to school for Automotive Electronics.
Afterwards he decided he needed to come back home to Montana where he worked on several
ranches and settled down to work at Roberts Packing Plant in Dillon, MT until he retired. In
1968 he met and married Linda (Budel)McQuiston, they had 3 children Lee, Janet and Jerry. In
1989 he married Joan (Ledbetter)McQuiston and they recently just celebrated 33 years of
marriage.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Leslie McQuiston and son Lee McQuiston.
He is survived by his wife Joan McQuiston, daughter Janet Osborne, son Jerry (Nancy)
McQuiston, stepdaughter Brenda Baima, grandchildren Douglas Osborne, Chelsea (Megan)
Mason, Cailen McQuiston, Nikki (Cameron) Myers, Justin Buell, Bre (Dusten) Barnhart. He is
also survived by his brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews and great
grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his little buddy!!
A celebration of his life will be held September 16, 2022, at 11:00am at Brundage Funeral
Home. A reception will follow in the Girl Scout Park in Dillon..
