Francis J. "Frank" Mousseau Jr., age 61, of Sidney, NE passed away peacefully, Friday, February 28, 2025, after battling several health issues. Cremation has been taken place and no formal funeral services are planned at this time. A Celebration of Life come and go will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 2-6:00 P.M. at Cedar Lanes in Sidney.
Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel to sign Francis' register book and leave condolences for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in care of the Mousseau family.

Francis James Mousseau Jr., was born on January 12, 1964, in Pine Ridge, SD to Francis and Grace (Whiting) Mousseau Sr. At the age of seven, he entered Foster Care and was raised by the German family on a farm near Imperial, NE. After graduation he attended college west of Sidney, receiving a degree as a mechanic. He worked in the Oilfield for several years before moving to North Dakota to work for Buster Finneman Custom Harvesting for fourteen years. Francis then moved to Sidney in 2000 and worked for Cabela's and Case IH and back to Cabela's for another ten years.
On September 14, 1999, Francis was united in marriage to Cheri Rogers in Beach, ND. They made many memories together. He loved to visit with everyone he met. He loved bowling and going to tournaments every time he could. He also loved fishing and going to the lake and putting in a garden every summer.
Francis is survived by his wife: Cheri of Sidney, NE, son: James Mousseau of Killdeer, ND; daughter: Melissa Mousseau of Watford City, NE and stepson: Shawn Rogers of Sidney, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents Franics Sr and Grace.
Francis will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
