Francis Anne Murray

Francis Anne Murray, 85, formerly of Ashland passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025. She was born in Lawrence, MA to the late Richard Y and Frances B (Pearley) Burnham. Anne was raised in North Andover, MA and graduated from Stoneleigh-Burnham School in Greenfield, MA where she enjoyed horseback riding, archery and field hockey. She went on to Lasell College where she studied business and played field hockey. She worked at Prime Computer for many years retiring in 2002. In retirement she worked at Garden in the Woods botanical garden in Framingham, a place she enjoyed immensely. She brought home many sick and injured plants, nursed them back to health and gave them away to family and friends.
Anne loved gardening and caring for animals. She will be deeply missed by sons Jonathan Murray of Ashland, Peter Murray and his wife Jennifer and grandchildren Connor and Nathan of Millville. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Linda Burnham, niece Kathryn Burnham and family and nephew Kent Burnham and family all of Maine. Anne was predeceased by her brother Richard B. Burnham and former husband Robert P Murray.
The funeral service will be private.
