Francis Marion "Frank" Nash III

Mr. Francis Marion "Frank" Nash, III, age 83, of Rome, GA, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2025, at a hospital in Chattanooga, TN.
Mr. Nash was born in Atlanta, GA, on January 18, 1942, son of the late Frank Marion Nash, Jr., and the late Nancy Cathey Nash. He was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Maverick Kyle Owen. Mr. Nash was a graduate of East Rome High School and went on to earn his degree in Accounting from Shorter College. Mr. Nash was a proud United States Navy and Vietnam War Veteran, having served two years stationed in Yokosuka, Japan, and another nearly two years on the U.S.S. Brinkley Bass, stationed in Long Beach, CA. Following his military service, he began his long career in the accounting industry. Mr. Nash opened his own accounting firm, Accounting Services of Rome, which he owned and operated for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 5 in Rome, the former secretary of Rome Elks Lodge, and formerly served on the board of directors for Rome's Hospitality House for Women.
Survivors include his son, Robert Marion "Robbie" Nash (Autumn); 2 granddaughters, Callie Nash Owen (Matt), and Hannah Grace Nash; 2 sisters, Nancy Lee Porter (Kenneth) and Eleanor Teague (L.C.); and his significant other, Debbie Ledbetter.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Nash will be cremated and a Celebration of his Life will be held at 6pm on Monday, December 8th, 2025, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Brad Prater officiating. Interment will take place at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at a later date.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 4pm until the service time at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel.
