Mr. Romance's lifelong dedication to and love of his family was imbued with and guided by his deep Catholic faith. His believed deeply in the Country he served, and always proudly wore his US Navy Veteran's hat at every opportunity. He appreciated being thanked for his service but even more loved the conversations that would ensue. The twinkle in his eye at unraveling the stories of others was always there and was one his most-loved qualities.

The family will receive friends at the Money & King Funeral Home, 171 W. Maple Ave., Vienna, VA, on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 5 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at 11 a.m. at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 3460 Centreville Rd., Chantilly, VA. Visitation at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. A reception will follow at St. Veronica's Hall from 12 Noon to 2 p.m.
Captain Romance will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. His Annie waits for him there.
