Francis "Buckwheat" Sarratori

December 19, 1952 – November 11, 2025

GENEVA – Francis "Buckwheat" Sarratori, 72, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025.

Born in Geneva on December 19, 1952, he was the son of the late Francis "Shanghi" and Susan Calabrese Sarratori. Frank was the youngest of three boys and always looked up to his brothers, Richard and Robert.

Known for his outgoing personality, Buckwheat enjoyed being the center of gatherings and often organized get-togethers for friends and family. He loved music, especially The Beatles, and playing the guitar. He was also a loyal fan of the New York Giants and the Boston Bruins.

Frank had a passion for cooking and at one time helped in the kitchen at the Sons of Italy in Geneva.

He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, whom he missed incredibly.

Frank leaves behind many friends who will miss his humor, his internet banter, and his regular Facebook updates.

A private service was held for family and close friends at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Geneva NY.
