GUILDERLAND -
Francis Robert Sheehan, better known as "Bob," passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, at St. Peter's Hospital, in Albany, N.Y. He was 76 years young.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 52 years, Cheryl (Darrah) Sheehan; his three children, F. Robert Sheehan and his wife, Nadine, Corinne (Sheehan) Federici and her husband, David, and Eva Claramonte and her husband, David Ross; along with his seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Cindy (Sheehan) Kelleher and her husband, William, Stephen Sheehan, and Gregg Sheehan.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., at Saint Madeleine Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Rd., Schenectady, N.Y., followed immediately by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. A private Burial will conclude the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bob's memory to one of his favorite causes, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. To leave a message of condolence for the family, visit www.CannonFuneral.com
