Francis Stephen "Frank" Taraska III, age 54, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

Born in Woodbury, NJ on May 23, 1971, he was a son of Francis S. and Carole (Stowe) Taraska, Jr. Frank was a graduate of Clearview High School and Gloucester County Institute of Technology. He also attended Delaware Technical and Community College. Frank proudly served in the United States Navy during Desert Shield. He made his career as a machinist at CQ Medical as well as John Crane.

Frank had a passion for motorcycles and was a member of the CVMA Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed riding with the club as well as to work. In his spare time, Frank could be found playing guitar and PlayStation 4. His most treasured moments were spent with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Frank is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Sharon L. (Kobylinski) Taraska; siblings, Dawn Pullinger (Richard) and Greg Taraska (Karen); niece, Ashley Pullinger; nephew, Mason Taraska; father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Kathleen Kobylinski; and his beloved cats, Chelsea and Corrine.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:30 am until 11:30 am on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11:30 am. A committal service will follow in the chapel of Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, DE.
