"Beloved husband, father, grandfather & brother"
Francis P. Wendhiser, 76, of Wolcott, entered the gates of heaven on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury. He was the husband of Sylvia R. (Lombardi) Wendhiser for fifty-four years. Besides his beloved wife Sylvia of Wolcott, CT, Fran leaves behind to cherish his memory, his two children, Erica Snyder and her husband TJ of Cromwell, CT, Matthew Wendhiser and his wife Stefanie of Los Angeles, CA, and his beloved granddaughter, Elaina, and step-grandchildren Kaitlyn and Aiden Snyder.
Arrangements: Calling hours for Fran will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial, the Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. A prayer service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family with full military honors at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury.
