Francisca Felipe Baucan

Francisca Felipe Baucan passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the age of 73. She was born on August 18, 1952, in the Philippines and lived a life filled with love, devotion, and a deep sense of faith.

Francisca found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as gardening, cooking and preparing meals for family, and singing along to her favorite song. Music was another source of joy for her and echoed her joyful spirit.

Her faith played an important role in her life. She was known for her religious devotion that guided her and those around her. She lived a life that embraced kindness and compassion, leaving a profound impact on all who knew her.

Francisca is survived by her three sons, David, Michael, and Scott Baucan; along with several grandchildren who carry on the values she instilled in them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Baucan.

Friends and family will be received at Mt. Pleasant Global Methodist Church, 1415 Kingwood Pike, Morgantown on Monday, October 27th from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. Visitation will continue at the church on Tuesday, October 28th from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00am with Pastor Sean Wightman officiating.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at the WV National Cemetery, 42 Veterans Memorial Lane, Grafton, beginning at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Francisca's memory may be made to Mt. Pleasant Global Methodist Church, 1415 Kingwood Pike, Morgantown, WV 26508. Expressions of sympathy may also be made through donations to the family to assist them in the coming days.
