Charles Keyser, aged 63, passed away on October 18, 2025, in Morgantown, WV, where he was also born on June 24, 1962, to the late Roscoe and Coleen Bolyard Keyser. Charles was a man distinguished by his unwavering work ethic and his service to his country.
A veteran of the United States Army, he embodied the values of duty and honor throughout his life. Following his military service, he continued to serve his community through his work as a dedicated truck driver, a career that kept him on the move but always close to the hearts of those he worked with and helped.
Charles's life was full of the joy that only a close-knit family can bring. He is survived by his beloved sons, Christopher Keyser and Hunter Keyser. His life was enriched by the laughter and love of his grandchildren, Cody, Ashley, and Josh Vargo, Ryan, Allie, and Cassie Keyser, all of whom will miss him dearly. The family legacy will also live on through the stories and memories shared with his caring sister, Joyce Smyth, and his brother, Tom Keyser.
He has joined his late parents, his cherished wife Terri Keyser, his dearly missed daughter Brandy Vargo, his sister Roberta Dinges, and his brothers-in-law Bob Dinges and Cecil "Butch" Smyth in eternal rest.
Family and friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Rd., Westover on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 4 pm until the funeral service begins at 6 pm; where military honors will be conferred by Westover VFW #9916. On Thursday, October 23, 2025 at noon, a graveside service will be held at Shiloh Cemetery near Kasson, WV. Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.mcculla.com
