Francisca Almanza Molina
Francisca Almanza Molina, 93, of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away January 31, 2026.
Francisca was born April 2, 1932 in Valle del Rosario, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was the daughter of Pablo Almanza and Margarita Molina.
Francisca grew up in Valle del Rosario. In 1952, she married Filiberto Sotelo Piñon at Virgen del Rosario. Filiberto preceded her in death.
She was a parishioner of St. Bernard's Catholic Church.
Francisca enjoyed being a stay at home wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening with her husband and cooking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved waking up to see her great grandson, Jassiel, who she lived with.
Francisca is survived by her children, Cruz (Herlinda) Sotelo of Valle del Rosario, Chihuahua MX, Filiberto (Mercy) Sotelo of Shelley ID, Juan Sotelo of Casas Grandez, Chihuahua MX, Maria (Ruben) Nevarez of Blackfoot ID, Saul Sotelo of Mount Pleasant TX and Adolfo (Erica) Sotelo of Blackfoot ID; 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pablo Almanza and Margarita Molina; her husband Filiberto Sotelo Piñon; and a son, Manuel Sotelo.
Interment took place in Cementario Valle del Rosario in Chihuahua, Mexico. The family is under the care of Hawker Funeral Home.
