Francisco Martinez Obituary
Francisco "Pancho" Martinez, 73 of Raymondville, Texas, entered into rest on Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Windsor Atrium Nursing Home in Raymondville, Texas.
He was born on October 14, 1952, in Mercedes, Texas, son of Augustin and Louisa (Valdez) Martinez who precede him in death along with his son, Frankie Martinez.
Francisco "Pancho" is survived by his sons, Cesar Martinez, Mario Martinez; daughter, Marivel Martinez; brother, Jose Martinez and his grandchildren, Jazmine, Stephany, Brianna, Osman, Elizabeth, Mario Jr., Arianna, Isabella along with numerous other grandchildren.
Though our time together was limited, the moments we did share with him were meaningful. We remember his loud laugh, his personality and the care he showed in small ways. He loved his family in his own way.
He faced challenges later in life, including health struggles, but he carried on with courage.
Today we honor the person he was, someone who brought moments of happiness and connection to those around him.
He will be remembered not only for the time he shared with us, but for the love he offered, the life he lived, and the quiet ways he left an impression on those who knew him.
John 14:27 – "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
A graveside services will be held at Raymondville Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 West Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, Texas.
