Ortega
Francisco “Popeye” Ortega, age 34, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 07, 2023 in El Paso, Texas. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and will be greatly missed. Francisco is survived by his parents: Saul Ortega and Reyna Llanes Lopez, his beautiful wife: Brenda Salais, his children: Maylin Ortega and Axel Ortega, and his brothers: Arturo Ortega, Saul Ortega, and Armando Rios. He is also survived by many extended friends and family to cherish and honor his memory.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, with a Holy Rosary to commence at 6:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Homes- West. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at St. Jude Catholic Church; 4006 Hidden Way El Paso, Texas 79922. A Graveside Service will follow at noon at Memorial Pines Cemetery, 3061 Memorial Pines Rd., Sunland Park, New Mexico 88063.
Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-West, 480 N. Resler Dr.
