Francisco Rocha Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home - Huntsville on Feb. 13, 2026.
Francisco Javier Rocha, 71, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, gentleness, and unwavering devotion to his family. Born in Totatiche, Jalisco, Mexico, Javier carried his roots with pride throughout his life, building a life centered on faith, hard work, and family.

Javier retired from NOV in Conroe, Texas, after years of dedicated service. He was a man who believed in providing for his family and did so with quiet strength and humility. His work ethic was steady and dependable, just like him.

In 1981, he married the love of his life, Rosalinda Rocha. For over four decades, they built a beautiful life together - one filled with simple joys like sharing coffee over breakfast, taking peaceful walks side by side, and enjoying music that filled their home with warmth. Whether it was his favorite Tejano songs or classic country tunes, music was often the soundtrack to his days.

Javier was a gentle and funny spirit, always wearing a smile and offering kindness to everyone he met. He was the kind of man who made people feel comfortable, welcomed, and cared for. But above all else, he was devoted to his family.

His greatest joy in life was his grandchildren. He loved spending time with them, laughing with them, and simply being present. They were the light of his life, and his love for them was endless.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosalinda Rocha; his children, Humberto (Lola), Gricelda (Thomas), and Leticia (Ray); and his cherished grandchildren, Brittney, Jaiden, Humberto, Leo, Ben, Sophia, and Olivia.

Francisco Javier Rocha will be remembered as the kindest, gentlest, and most family-oriented man - a husband who walked faithfully beside his wife, a supportive father who led with love, and a grandfather whose warmth will forever live in the hearts of his family. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he gave so freely will continue to guide and surround those who knew him.

A visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, with a rosary beginning at 6:00 PM. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mayes Addition of Oakwood Cemetery.
