Francisco Saavedra Jr.
October 9, 1980 – February 19, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Francisco Saavedra Jr., who left us too soon. Born on October 9, 1980, in Michoacán, Mexico, Francisco was the beloved son of Francisco Andrade Saavedra and Barbarita Gudino Saavedra. At just a year old, he moved to the United States alongside his family and was raised in Oceanside, California.
Francisco was a devoted brother to Ramon, Jesus, and Lupe. He shared a deep love for his family and always cherished time spent with them.
He had a passion for life and the simple joys it brought. Francisco loved the beach, cruising the strand, and enjoying the vibrant culture of his community. A true foodie, he relished eating elotes and had an undeniable sweet tooth, with a special fondness for candy and Coca-Cola. He found joy in working on cars, listening to Chicano rap, and playing video games. Above all, he loved spending time with his children, bonding over their shared love for gaming.
Francisco was a proud father to his children: Francisco Jr., who sadly passed in infancy, his son Matthew (born July 2003) and his daughters Victoria (born September 2006), Deyanna (born February 2009), and Jarezty (born June 2015). His love for them was endless, and his memory will live on in their hearts forever.
He is also survived by his devoted partner and best friend, Marina Parades, who stood by his side through every moment, offering love, support, and companionship. Together, they created countless cherished memories throughout the years they spent with one another-up until the very end.
Francisco's presence brought warmth and laughter to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
