Frank H. Adams, age 88, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on July 23, 2024. He was born November 16, 1935 in Parowan, Utah to Frank and Buryle Adams.
Frank grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from South High School and went on to the University of Utah to attain a degree in chemical engineering. He then moved to Chicago to work for UOP, where he met his first wife Erna and raised three children. After retiring, he moved back home to Utah, where he met Sheila and they were together for the last 34 years.
Frank enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. His favorite times were spent with family and friends.
Frank is survived by his wife Sheila, his children, Sandra Messinger (Scott), Frank Adams (Heather), and Steve Adams (Theresa). Sheila’s daughters Carmen and Jaime. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and five nieces, and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Buryle, his first wife, Erna, his sisters Annette, Jackie and his niece Lanette.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. A viewing will begin at 11:30 a.m. and go on until 12:45 p.m. at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Hopehospice.org in his name.
