Frank William Aid, 93 years and 24 days old, passed away on May 21, 2024, at Glenwood Healthcare in Seymour, MO with his family by his side.
Frank was born April 28, 1931, in Tigris, MO, in Douglas County, to James Dewey and Katherine Clementine "Katie" (West) Aid.
He was raised in the Douglas County community. At a young age Frank wanted to work and did so working in Illinois with Del Monte.

Returning to Douglas County, they bought the Springdale Farm from his childhood friend, J.G. Heinlein. Frank would say to his kids, "The family that sawmills together, stays together." Whatever the family was working at, that was his motto. He absolutely loved hard work. Frank also served as Douglas County Deputy Sheriff.
