Noble, Missouri

Florence Delena Evans, 90 years, 7 months, 22 days old, passed away peacefully to Heaven on, March 15, 2026, at her home with her family by her side.

Florence was born July 24, 1935, in Bruner, Missouri to Henry Benton and Vida Mary (Briggle) Maggard.

Florence was raised in Christian county Missouri. She loved serving the Lord and attending church at Thornfield House of Prayer, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She loved her family and her grandbabies. She enjoyed cooking breakfast for her family, traveling, gardening, and studying the word. Most of all she was a caregiver to anybody that was in need. She was faithful and loving mother and grandmother her legacy of love will live on in her family.

For twenty eight years, Florence and Raymond were married and together were blessed with four sons and two daughters, Gene, Jerry, Michael, Starla, Greg, and Ramona.

On April 1st, 2000, Florence and Paul Evans were united in marriage at Thornfield House of Prayer and he preceded her in death in 2010.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband Paul Evans; her son, Jerry Patrick, her daughters, Starla Rene Masters and Ramona Lynn Pippin; siblings Eugene, Cecil, Joe, Esther, Bootsie, Roy, Eddie, and James; grandchildren, Justin, Tiffany, and Marsha.

She is survived by her sons, Gene, Michael, and Gregory; her granddaughter and husband that cared for her, Felicia and Daniel Collins, many other grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great- great- great grandchildren. Many other extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Florence will be Wednesday March 18th, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Thornfield House of Prayer, in Thornfield, Missouri with a visitation prior to the service at 10:00 A.M. and burial following in the Thornfield House of Prayer Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Stan Collins. Memorials may be made to Thornfield House of Prayer.
