Kathleen Charlotte "Kathy" Evans

Mrs. Kathleen Charlotte (Rogers) Evans, age 75, of Loris, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. She was born on October 7, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland, to her late parents Charles H. Rogers, Jr. and Dorothy D. Rogers.

Kathleen was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She graduated from Edgewood High School (MD) and took classes for an Accounting Certificate at Harford Community College in Bel Air, MD. She built a career as a cosmetologist and later worked as a bookkeeper for a travel agency, where her attention to detail and friendly nature made her well loved by colleagues and clients alike.

She had a deep love for travel and adventure. Kathy especially enjoyed traveling across the country camping with her family, creating countless memories along the way. She also had a passion for showing her beloved Brittany Spaniel at dog shows and attending car shows, hobbies that brought her great joy and many friendships.

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband, Rodney G. Evans; her sister, Susan R. Wilhelm; her two sons, Ronald A. Evans and Robert S. Evans; and seven grandchildren.

Her family will remember her for her generous spirit, love of family, and the many joyful moments she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who have had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Kathy's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Benji Hutson officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, prior to services, at Hardwick Funeral Home.
