Boothbay – On Saturday, September 25th, Frank C Anderson, Sr. , 71 passed away at his home in Boothbay .

Beloved husband, son, brother, dad, grandfather/papa, Frank was born in Brunswick on July 3, 1954, the fourth child and only son of the late Verna (White) and Walter Anderson of Richmond, Maine.

Frank grew up in Richmond, Maine and graduated from Richmond High School class of 1972. He continued his education at Northeast Career Schools ('94)

In Sept 1973 Frank began his welding career at BIW retiring in 1989. A member of BIW's Tiger Team Frank traveled often to Nashua NH, Norfolk Va, Waukegan IL, Barcelona Spain and Naples Italy.

In 1994 Frank began a second career as a Class A tractor trailer truck driver with Northeast Transport in Waldoboro. Those who knew Frank are not surprised by his "King of the Road" and "Mr. "Fix It" company recognitions. In 2002 Frank moved closer to his Boothbay home driving truck for E.M. Wood Construction of Boothbay, retiring in 2019. He finished his career driving truck and working the potato harvest with the Nightingale Farms Crew in New Limerick, Maine.

Above all he adored his wife of 40 years Marian; son Frank Anderson Jr. (Brandie) daughter Shanna (Eric) McNeil, daughter Rachel and his beloved grandchildren, Avery Anderson, Abby (Kyle) Frazier, Christopher Simpson, Nicholas Simpson, Spencer McNeil, Madison Nichols and his great joy, great grandson Beauman Frazier. He is also survived by his sisters Jane Grover of Topsham, Martha Tribbet of Richmond and their families. Frank will be missed by his cousins Carl (Veda) Ferris of Woolwich, Marsha of Massachusetts and his nieces and nephews with whom he had a special bond.

His much loved -in-laws; Michael & Sharon Cadrette of Michigan, Marlene & Skip Mitchell of Pa, Mark Cadrette of Ohio, Matthew and Tina Cadrette of Alabama, and Merilee & Michael Jacques of Lincoln, Maine, will remember his homemade cooking, his willingness to drive anywhere to visit and his caring, quick quip conversations.

Preceded in death by his parents, sister Cynthia, in-laws Ronald & Barbara Cadrette.

The family is thankful for the compassionate caring team of Dr. Rob Hunnold & Brianne, the physical therapist team extraordinaire withTim Bryce,Heather,Wiley, Jim, Diane and Carrie. For the friendly faces of Pam Peters, Jill and Stephanie that greeted Frank at every visit. Your kindness and dedication made a difference.

On Wednesday, October 15th @ 11:00am family and friends will celebrate his life at the Wilson Memorial Chapel,49 Shore Road, Ocean Point, East Boothbay, Maine. A gathering to share stories and memories with those he loved will follow at the American Legion Hall, 25 Industrial Park Road, Boothbay.
